Take a walk around the block. Meander through the neighborhood. Or just sit on the front stoop, inhaling the scent of blossoms and fresh-cut grass, humming with birds and laughing with kids. And savor a piece of chocolate while you're at it!

Hey, if you read the comments to this post, tell Derek and Adrienne to tell their family thanks for all they do. It may not appear not affect us directly, but consider that kindness anywhere in the world, near or far, seems to run an endless loop. Would you call it the "Pay-It-Forward Principle?"
I meant to say "It may not appear to affect us...." instead of "It may not appear not to affect us...."
Or better yet, send a little money to the org.
